Hey, we are still here, just feeling a little dormant!
Winter is a time of rest and renewal. All of us new trees have been in the ground for four months now. We look pretty much the same, maybe even a little less lively, but make no mistake, our roots are taking hold and we are ready to spring into action in a few months. Just as long as those hungry deer look elsewhere, I would say we have a real chance at becoming a legit tree farm.
We are excited to see we have “cousins” that are thriving elsewhere on the property. Just like older sisters and brothers, they are giving us hope that we will soon be standing tall. Maybe some birds will come to rest on our shoulders someday!
